JOIN IN TO RAISE MONEY FOR YOUR SCHOOL OR LOCAL CHARITY
Fundraising
School Game Playing Day involves asking students to bring €2 and their favourite board game to school to play during class. The money raised can be put towards a school fund or donated to a local charity of your choice.
This year, the list from which you can choose includes classic games such as Monopoly, Guess Who and Twister, as well as new games like Play-Doh Smashed Potatoes, Monkey Dunk and Pictureka.
All you have to do to receive your games is send us Confirmation of your Participation by the 30th of November. You can do this simply by emailing games@hasbro.ie or post to School Game Playing Day, C/O Walsh Public Relations, 16 Upper Mount Street, Dublin 2. You’ll need to quote your registration number, the amount you have raised and for whom.
In addition, we have a county prize of €200 to be added to your School Game Playing Day fund. To win, your school must show how much fun they had on the day better than any other school in the county. The more creative you are the better so we’d like to see posters and scrapbooks of photos, stories and poems please! You could even make a short movie clip and send it to us on DVD.
The 1st Step - Register
If your school would like to get involved by taking part in School Game Playing Day, then all you need to do is click on the REGISTER tab. Please ensure you fill out every field and submit your registration by 21st October 2011.
We will then send you your registration number by email. This registration number must be quoted on all correspondence or enquiries.

In the DOWNLOADS section, you will find a colourful Poster to display in your school as well as a Certificate of Appreciation that can be photocopied and given to each child on the day.
