Tips for Organising your School’s Game Playing Day

  1. Download and display the NGPW poster to promote your Game Playing Day (see DOWNLOADS section)
  2. Check out the DOWNLOADS section for ideas on how games can be used in class (Benefits of Board Games)
  3. Why not organise a round robin event, so each child gets to play every game e.g. limit time to 15-20 minutes per game
  4. Lots of Hasbro games can be limited by time e.g. Monopoly: check out Monopoly quick rules on www.monopoly.co.uk
  5. Give certificates to every child that participates (see DOWNLOADS section)
  6. Send learnings from the classroom home to parents with Tips for Parents (see DOWNLOADS section)
  7. Most of all – have fun!
